yeah last week of FMP for me.

ive nearly got all the folder work done.

had a few technical errors with the video

dvd menu is nearly done

and yeah im in a state of panic

just breathe

garrrrrggh it's been while

rightio, erm well i have decided pretty much to change my idea. DON'T PANIC. 

im going to do a dvd menu but when its being played there it will have a video link to a "preview" of Blondie's new music video 

cause i havent got time to edit a full video so a verse and a chorus is all im doing plus the interactive dvd menu.

Do you reckon thats enough?? 

and ofcourse the folder of hell wich i never want to see again in my life

errrrmmm im not allowed to swear so the poopie has hit the fan

i really really need to get my act together and sorty out this folder so tomorrow 12th april im going to go through my folder and write down literally EVERYTHING i need for it and just cross them off.

But, erm like yeah theres a presentation on all the research we've done tomorrow and ive done not alot cos i've been struggling, but i've eventually gotten the page for CBGB's cos it was blocked in college so today i'm going to try and get work done and printed.

im stuck with my folder work and i really need to start with that properly but but but but but i had a brainwave, quite dangerous for me but i think it just might work XD..

right instead of waiting for a gig to come up i'm just going to take my actors to newcastle and film outside the o2 academy so it looks like they've just left and i'll get more cutaways from band practise on saturday so hopefully. this friday i can meet up with my actors and get all the remaining shots over this weekend.

hahaha benefit of being left to my own devices at work hehe truthfully ive been bashing facebook for about an hour soo thought id fill you peeps in...

well i started the dvd cover and poster... then i got a lil frustrated but i calmed down and made a bit more.... then i remembered i didnt have my flat plans and had forgotten the next bit so i gotta wait till i get home to finish that....  AND NO ONE HAS GIVEN ME FOOD..... but im still alive so weeeeyyyyy......  erm i would be doing some research n that but i forgot that file too so i know what im doing on monday.....

FILMING WILL GO AHEAD THIS WEEKED AND HOPEFULLY WILL FINISH..

even if i have to kidnap Gemma and Shaun until i need them

week four and im still stressing

I cant film this weekend because im at work and erm im going to try and cram all my filming into the weekend  after so on the 9th .... and hopefully on the 31st or the 14th....

so this week i'm using all my tome on the folder and photoshop items.

week three and dave's scared the crap out of us!!!!!!!!!

Well week 3 is here and ive made a start on filming since i had a setback with my actress im a tiny bit behind on my inital plan but i should hopefully sort that out this weekend.....

ahhh the misery of research ..... Damn you dave, even though you've helped.....

well silly thought on my behalf thought i wouldnt have alot of research until i made the silly  but somewhat clever mistake of asking Dave about. so with the research i thought i was nearly finished.... Ive barely scratched the surface so i think my new plan is to get on with the filming mainly because if i film the way i want, i shouldnt have much (im anticipating saying this) editing to do. HOPEFULLY. so if i crack on with the filming the only bits i cant get done straight away is the indoor scenes which WILL BE FILMED ON THE 31ST MARCH. at Mixed Motives next gig!

sooooooooo all in all if i crack on i shouldnt be struggling since in dedicating Andrea's two hours and then Sue's two hours tomorrow to hopefully finishing if not nearly finishng the research critera Dave scared me with earlier.

whey made a start

On saturday i got some footage of Mixed Motives for the video. I'm going to make it black and white in finalcut pro :)

a little break down i changed some stuff and keep losing the paper because i havent put it in a file yet (the bits in a different colour are what im filmimg).

A girl (Gemma) is getting ready the camera will see her feet through the into and when the lyrics start we will see her leaving the house and walking towards the train station.

Filming

Filming Mixed Motives on Saturday and i'll probably get some shots of my actors even though i wanted to film in sequence one of my actors cant make saturday. :( so we're starting properly next week and this weekend is for cutaways.

i'll alos need to find out how to set my footage of the band into Black and white.

Round about time to start

at the weekend I'm going to film a band i know at their practise for some cutaways to use during the bits of the song that have no lyrics and some of the chorus's.

•For the DVD I was wanting for the front cover a stage with maybe Blondie live, since the people in the video aren’t singing. And for the back cover have print screens of the bands video’s and album covers throughout the years.

Idea for opening before I forget it.

I'm going to put the camera on the floor and film 'maria' walking around her room and leaving then when the lyrics start the audience will see her properly. Not just her feet :)

The Poster

 

I’m thinking for my Blondie poster. To recreate a cover of one of their albums and edit it in Photoshop.

 

I could also have a photoshoot and use the People from the video and take Photo’s and make an original poster.

My ten week plan

Week one - plan out shots and the scenes and that (it's lucky I understand myself). Research into stuff for the the poster, tickets and DVD cover.
Week two - record and edit as I go, tom in sequence of song. Take photo's while filming. Continue and complete the research.
Week three - hopefully some of the video will be recorded so I can start editing that :) also I want to get a start on the photoshop production.
Week four - this is my halfway point ideally I'd want all my filming done by this time, if not very nearly complete. So I can have the editing nearly done too.
Week five - photoshop items very nearly finished. If not already done so, and if the video is not completed already.
Week six - catch up ( because I will need to) on paperwork for the FMP folder.
Week seven - folder. FINAL CHANGES FOR PHOTOSHOP WORK!!!!!!!!
Week eight - COMPLETE EVERYTHING. Create presentation.
Week nine - hand in week and hope for the best.
Week ten - tanning it up in TURKEY!!!!!!
Week eleven - final presentation.

Maria.

So im going to make video on the song.
The main jist of the video is gonna follow a girl 'Maria' around. It's going to be in an audiences point of view and there is going to be two main characters.

I want to film each bit with the lyrics so its easier to manage. I'm going to edit as soon as i have my shots, so I,m not being silly with my time.

Film

A girl dances around in her room , not caring just enjoying herself .

The girl is on a train and a boy see’s her dancing to her music 

The boy and girl get off the train and are going to the same club they’re dancing and talking in the club when the chorus starts. Throughout the chorus its the characters in the club dancing.

Girl and by walking slowly along the beach and laughing,. They’re playing and splashing the water at each other .

Boy and girl act like a young couple.

On chorus the boy and girl are dancing in the club where they first met, boy kisses girl and then they turn to  leave

The boy and girl leave the club and people notice and stare at them .

Boy and girl are outside the club at night and are walking away from camera holding hands, swinging arms. Being  a couple.

They walk up the street and as the music fades the camera fades to black.
